The town of São Fransisco is a small commerce center for the local farmers. It has a main street that is full of shops and the rest of this quite town are homes. It is this quite town we find Luiz & Fatima with their family and Coca & Lydia with their one child. They are tent maker church planters that moved here a three years ago. They have been working the soil in this community for all these years with little fruit.

Luiz & Fatima own a fruit stand three blocks off the main street in town. They have used this as a contact point to reach those in the community. In December 2007 we saw a new couple baptized into faith in Jesus Christ. This is an exciting addition to the slow growing family of believers.

Coca runs a small appliance and electronic repair service. This only provides for a meager existence. They work with Luiz in working the soil. They both have bible studies during the week and meet twice a week in Luiz's home for worship and fellowship.

How to Pray:
That Cuca will continue to find work so that he can live in that community.

The new believers are willing to be discipled by Luiz .

That these new believers will draw other to Christ.
