The small town of Santarem Novo does not have a gas station but is the center of the region. It does not have a single evangelical church and is a target to start a point of light for us and the team of Brazilian men we work with.

Spring 2006 a group of us stood in the center of town an prayed for the Holy Spirit to move and open doors for us to start a point of light in this town. Summer of 2006 we had OBI, a youth team, bring their puppets and drama to help make contact with the city. It worked!

The last event to strike out at this city was a prayer walk by our team of Brazilian believers. It was an exciting time with conversations with some of the contacts we had made previously and new contacts that invited us into their homes.

The soil of this town is ready for planting but there are no labors. Our greatest problem is finding people to go into this town on a regular basis. We need prayer warriors to pray for this target on a regular basis. Our God will move is we seek Him and call upon His name.

How to Pray:
Pray that the Lord will raise up workers for this coming harvest.
That others in Brazil will catch the vision to reach this town for Christ.
