The joy of new believers is some times inexpressible. This past year we have seen baptisms in three towns that we have been working in. There are now three fledging house churches in each of these that meet on a weekly basis to worship, study and praise our Lord. This has been an exciting year for us.

God is rising up Fig pickers (Amos 7:14-15) to start new points of light in Brazil. Common people, like fishermen and office workers, are heeding the call of God to be leaders in their Church and to begin new Churches.
Our ministry trademark is that our Brazilian tent makers, that I work with closely, are the ones publicly leading this effort. They are leading these house churches, disciplining new believers and evangelizing new towns to spread the Gospel. As we build a ministry model for these new churches we see at the core they understand that they are to reach out beyond their communities. Two locations have made plans to reach new areas for Christ. A New Tool Cross Cultural Bible Story Telling
Our ministry is leading us deeper into the Amazon. Many who live in this region do not read, so we must develop new methods of reaching these for Christ. We spent 11 days at the Wycliff training center for a workshop on cross cultural bible story crafting. There we have caught a new vision for training volunteers to reach the 30 to 50 thousand communities that are still without a Gospel witness here. Pray with us as we seek to reach deeper into the Amazon river region with the simple Gospel message that they can grasp. Key Ministries
Our goal this past year was to develop resources and inspire believers to catch the vision that they can plant new churches throughout Brazil. Wayne works with a handful of men to establish new points of lights and now small house churches in interior areas. The locations we are directly working in are; São Fransisco, Peri-Meri, Capitão Poço and Santarém Novo. Wayne is working with Brazilian Leaders to produce audio teaching tools on CD for new believers and leaders. The projects completed this year are verse by verse commentaries on Revelations, Gospel of John and other small books in the New Testament.
